TRiY Counseling Services, LLC is an emerging psychotherapy private and group practice specializing in helping individuals (children, youth, adolescents, students, adults, families, support teams, the overall community) to overcome their life challenges and achieve their personal goals using a person-centered approach and incorporating elements of various evidenced-informed methodologies. We empower individuals to be the best versions of themselves and promote a culture of strength, positivity, self-determination, and resilience. We believe that by focusing on the strengths of the individual and his or her support team empowers the client and their connected system, establishing a more solid foundation. TRiY Counseling Services, LLC operates out of Camden, SC (Kershaw County) and serves many of the surrounding counties and areas throughout South Carolina. Our services are provided within an office setting and some services via tele-health (video), with hopes of continuously expanding our services and offering more tele-health (video) sessions in the future. ABOUT OUR LEADERSHIP Louis Q. Carn was born in Charleston, South Carolina and raised in Saint George, SC. Louis currently serves as a Licensed Independent Social Worker-Clinical Practice (LISW-CP/(S)) & Board Approved-Clinical Practice Supervisor for the State of SC. He obtained a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of South Carolina (2013), Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Coastal Carolina University (2010) and began his collegiate and academic coursework at Claflin University studying Sociology (2007). Louis is an ambitious Social Worker, with a strong commitment to serving the needs of disadvantaged and vulnerable families, as well as, youth and adult populations, to help them improve the quality of their lives. He uses an eclectic approach to treatment by incorporating elements of the person-centered approach, solution-focused, strengths perspective, and resiliency framework in his practice experience. Most of Louis’ work and practice experience focuses on working with children, adolescents, youth, at-risk clients, families, and college students. He collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, professionals, and the overall community to ensure continuity of care. He has received training in the field of Social Work and mental health. He also pursues continuing education in a variety of areas, particularly on social work-related topics, mental health treatment and interventions, and ethics. Louis focuses on rebuilding positive relationships within systems and giving back to others in all that he does. Louis is the Clinical Executive Officer (CEO) at TRiY Counseling Services, LLC.
